Saddik Attar and Mohammed Attar, two brothers from one of the oldest leading merchant families in Saudi Arabia, founded the Saddik & Mohammed Attar Company in 1940s. The company prides itself in being one of the first registered commercial companies in the Kingdom and a founding member of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce; thus helping to usher in a new era of prosperity and global enterprise for the nation of Saudi Arabia. In the early days, the company’s primary business was to provide services for the pilgrims traveling to the Holy Cities.
Attar Travel, the sister company of Saddik & Mohammed Attar Co. came in existence in the early 1980s, in accordance with IATA regulations. From one travel office in Jeddah in 1952, Attar Travel has expanded to more than 35 offices throughout all the Kingdom and also has established its international presence through a partnership with Business Travel International (BTI) the world's leading travel management company and the acknowledged expert in the delivery of corporate travel solutions operating in over 90 key commercial countries. |
